Test Drive A Broad Range of EVs

Test drive a broad range of EVs, from economy EVs to the performance-luxury Polestar 3, from the extremely capable Ford F150 Lightning to the alien-technology Tesla Cybertruck.   We've already confirmed a wide range of models for you to test drive from Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Polestar, Tesla, Volkswagen, and we're in the process of adding more!

Complementing the test drives, new vehicles are on display and available for your inspection. 

Owner Display Vehicles: Real Owners, Real Experience, Real Answers

Ah, the heart and soul of the OEVA! Owners showing their personal cars, answering guest questions from their real lived experience. For owners, this event is a great opportunity to share in the camaraderie of the EV community, inclusive of all Makes and Models.

Keynote Presentations from EV Experts

In the Daimler Headquarters state of the art multimedia meeting room we've got presentations on topics for people new to EVs, as well as for experienced EV owners looking to learn more. We'll soon update the Events page with the presentation schedule.

Gas to EV Conversions

Curious about what it takes, or are you looking to create your own special vehicle? People who have done it are there to answer all your questions, and show you the meticulous work they've done.

1914 Detroit Electric Rides

Volunteers from the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum give free rides in their antique “parlor room on wheels,” steering and controlling the speed with tillers while beguiling you with the story of this 110-year-old EV technology. It’s an absolute hoot!

The Oregon Electric Vehicle Association (OEVA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit all volunteer group of EV Enthusiasts, EV Evangelists, and EV Owners of all makes and models, and an independent chapter of the national Electric Vehicle Association. See what we're planning on our Events page. We help organize and staff the Electric Vehicle Showcase (Part of Electric Avenue) at the Oregon International Auto Show each winter, and we host a Drive Electric Earth Month (DEEM) event in the spring and National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) event in the fall. At these events you can talk with experienced EV owners who can answer your questions from their personal experience. At DEEM and NDEW we all have our personal EVs present. Some of us have basic, economy EVs. Many of us have technically advanced vehicles, computers on wheels,  and we can invite you inside and take the time to show you how this new technology has made driving safer, more reliable, and less stressful. It's like how the smartphone changed cellphones, but for cars. We also have meetings every month where we talk about EVs, learn about EVs, and generally have a pleasant time.

We are all about sharing our EV knowledge from our own experience. Check out the Stories pages, where our members tell their stories of living with an EV instead of a gas car.
